We are partnering with Tim Wolfe and 1027 Church, reaching out together to the kids of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta – George Washington Carver Club.

Dear Family and Friends,
We hope this update finds you and others around you, standing firm in Christ in the midst of life’s spiritual, emotional, & physical storms that “..rain on the just and the unjust..”(Matthew 5:45). In these past weeks we have seen devastating damage from the storms in our community and beyond! Some have lost everything! At the same time, we have seen an overwhelming response from individuals wanting to help; some storm survivors themselves! 
In addition to all this, we have heard many stories of Divine intervention. In all that has occurred, may we be reminded that when these storms come, the foundation we have makes all the difference! If we are built upon the rock, representing the Savior and His Word, we will stand! However, if we are built upon the sand, representing Satan and this World, we will fall. (Matthew 7:24-29)

Thank you so much for responding so lovingly and graciously to our plea asking for help to provide food and assistance to those who are struggling with the challenges of last week’s tornado. We’ve been able to send out a truckload of food each day since Thursday. We thank God for you, our dear friends, for giving in abundance! Please continue to pray for those in our community, as there are still many needs.
Our initial request was to meet the needs onsite of the disasters. Some of those items are still needed and are listed below. As of today, we’ve been listed as a Red Cross resource to meet the needs of families that have met their assistance assessment requirements. This will help us in serving the truly needy.

Hello, my friends!
As Jesse and I arrived at Azalea, my car was met with the usual crow of children clamoring to be heard.
“Mr. Tim, Mr. Tim!”
“Hello, kids!” I reach into the back seat and pull out a big plastic container. he children know what this means! Donuts! Every month they help us label the envelopes that carried this letter to your door. they enjoyed doing the “stickers” and I always give them a treat for their hard work.
“OK, kids! Let’s do he name labels!”
The children take their seats and immediately start yelling.
“I need some Mr. Tim! I need ore Mr. Tim!”
I hand each child a little stack of envelopes and a row of name labels. “Put these in the middle.” I carefully put a label on the envelope and show them the example. “That’s easy, Mr. Tim!”
We all sit down at the tables and begin o work. Fahim, one of the kids from Bangledesh is new to the mission.
“What are these for, Mr. Tim?” His chubby, little brown face smiles at me.
“Well Fahim. Every month, we send a letter to our friends who support we’re doing here at the mission.”
“Support?” Hid English isn’t very strong yet, since he’s new in the country.
“That means they help us. They send us money so we can help you guys. See theses table and chairs?”
“Yes.” He nods thoughfully.
“These sweet folks sent their money so we could pay for them. Remember when it was so cold?”
“Oh yeah.” He made shivering motions.
“If it wan’t it wasn’t for their help we wouldn’t have any heat. Remember when we gave you those school supplies and back packs?”
“Yes!” He looked at his bag.
“The people we’re writing to gave you so you would have what you needed for school.”
He looked at me intently.
“What happens if they don’t give?” He seemed quite concerned.
“Well, I rekon our lives would get harder.”Mr. Tim.”
