Thursday in Arizona
Thursday was another great day of ministry in Santa Rosa and Kaka. We had more children even late in the week. One of those was a 9 year old named Vanace. He was supposed to have come on Wednesday but his big brother did not let us know he was to go. When we dropped of big brother, we learned that Vanace had been left behind! He tried walking across the desert but was found out (thankfully as it was 100+ degrees!). Of course, Vanace was with us on Thursday. We had a blast loving on him and others in the name if Jesus!

Wednesday In Arizona
Is it Wednesday already??!! We are at the half-way point today! Hard to believe!
Yesterday, we sent some names to be posted on the prayer wall in the main lobby. Did you see them? If you did, you saw the name, Syrianna, and you prayed for her. She is from the village of Santa Rosa. Hailey Montague shared with Syrianna how she could have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ today. This happened sometime around 2:00 p.m. today, Atlanta time. You know what’s next, don’t you? Syrianna decided to become Christian! Thank you for praying! Tuesday night we had talked about our responsibility to share and God’s responsibility to save! Hailey learned that there is no pressure in sharing – only pleasure!
We are learning first-hand what it means to work in different fields that are at different stages in the harvest. Praise God he is using us to sow seeds of his love and grace in the hearts of people here.
God is at work here. He is using First Baptist Papago Church, too!
Thanks again for your partnership in praying!

Sunday in Arizona
The Arizona GO Team had a good day! We were encouraged as we worshipped with the members of First Papago Baptist Church in Sells. The team is being housed on the campus of the church. After lunch, the two groups went to visit homes in Santa Rosa and Kaka. We’re looking forward to ministry beginning Monday morning!

We met brothers Matthew, Maverick and Thunder who are training for a wrestling tournament and were able to pray for them.
Thanks for praying.
Arizona GO Team On The Ground!
After one plane ride and a two hour van ride through the desert, the Arizona GO Team is on the ground – safe and sound! The team will be working with One Way Ministries and First Papago Baptist Church this week. The team will be conducting Vacation Bible School in the mornings and a Sports Camp in the afternoon. Part if the team will work in a warm and receptive village named Santa Rosa while the other group will work in Kaka (pronounced “gaka”), which is more remote and closed to the Gospel. In fact, JT Turner of One Way described the village as being “spiritually dark.”
Please pray for spiritual breakthroughs and boldness as the teams share in both communities. The sports outreach will take place in Sells.
Drive Across The Desert Raises More Than Dust
Fifty-plus drivers and passengers left various staging areas near Arizona’s Tohono O’odham nation one Saturday last November, following assigned routes through some 200 miles of a challenging landscape speckled with cactus, sagebrush and wild stallions south of Phoenix and west of Tucson.
Tohono O’odham
Arizona is the home to the Tohono O’odham (TO), a Native American people who are considered to be one of the poorest nations in America. Eagle’s Landing will be working through One Way Ministries and the First Papago Baptist Church to impact the world of the TO. Native American peoples are called “First Nations” peoples as well.
From June 12-19, a team will be on the reservation working through various outreach activities with One Way Ministries staff and members of First Papago to impact the TO with the Gospel of Jesus. This is an awesome opportunity to serve alongside friend from Eagle’s Landing and new friends in Arizona! Bruce Mewbourne will be the leader of this GO Team – join him and others to experience what God is doing among this First Nations people! This is a great trip for families, students and, well, just about anyone!
Approximate cost is $1030 depending on airfare and team size.
Join the team today by completing the on-line application! Don’t delay as the team will begin preparation very soon!
