Christmas Cards for the Homeless
We are partnering with True Worship Christian Fellowship to spread Christmas greetings. You can be a blessing to the underprivileged this holiday season by creating a Christmas card and writing a simple message of love and hope in Christ.
Details:
- Hand-made Christmas cards with a personal message to share with people who are homeless in Atlanta (purchased card are acceptable, too)
- Message should express the joy and hope reflected in the Christmas story.
- Message should center on Jesus Christ, Savior of the world! No politically correct messages – this is CHRISTMAS!
- Do not refer to the reader as “homeless” or refer to their situation in any way.
- Focus on writing messages of joy and hope such as: “I am praying that you experience the love of Jesus Christ this Christmas Season.”
- Sign the cards – Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church
- Do not include any personal contact information
- Cards only – no gifts or money should be included with the card
Starting Thursday, December 8 – place your cards in bins located in the Global Outreach area of the main church lobby or the lower LifeCenter lobby until Sunday, December 19
