Join the church family

To help you learn more about ELFBC and what it means to be a meaningful part of God's church family, we offer a special class led by Pastor Tim Dowdy entitled, Discovering the Joy of Belonging. This informative class provides the best way for you to learn about our beliefs, vision, history, and various ministries we offer. It is designed to help you in your decision-making process of deciding on a new church home.

Baptism

New Testament Baptism is reserved for those who have repented of their sin and placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. The Bible clearly teaches that we are saved by grace, not by works (Ephesians 2:8–9). Baptism is a symbol of our faith and an act of obedience for believers. It is also a picture of what has already taken place in the heart of the believer-death to the old sinful nature and birth to New Life in Christ. If you have accepted Jesus as your savior and you have not been baptized, please contact us for detailed information on baptism. More than 2,000 people have been baptized at ELFBC!

Join a LifeGroup

ELFBC may initially seem like a big church, but we have developed a network of small-group fellowships based on "seasons of life" that provide a wonderful way for you to make new friendships, have prayer support, care, and encouragement, while growing in your relationship with Jesus Christ through relevant teaching and Bible study. LifeGroups are the backbone of our church, and classes are offered for all stages of life—adults, students, and children!
